*Decorative block options vary based on location.

What can you use concrete barrier blocks for?

With our concrete blocks, the possibilities are endless. Some popular uses for our blocks include block walls, security barriers, traffic control, material bins, and tent tie-down solutions. With rental and delivery options, we make it easy to use concrete blocks for any type of project.

How many concrete blocks do I need?

The number of concrete blocks required is determined by the application. Our blocks are sold individually or in bulk and are available for delivery and rental to offer you the best possible variety of solutions. What’s the difference between cinder blocks and concrete blocks?

Although similar in name, cinder blocks and concrete blocks are usually used for different purposes. The term “cinder block” refers to a small block made with filler materials and are typically less expensive than concrete blocks. Cinder blocks normally have a rectangular shape with a hollow interior which limits their strength and overall usage. Our concrete blocks are made from recycled concrete with a strength rating of 3,000 – 4,000 PSI. Their strength and size options make them perfect for permanent or temporary outdoor solutions for restaurants, special events, job sites, and so much more.

What are other names for concrete blocks?

Concrete blocks have a variety of different names and may be referred to as cinder blocks, jersey barriers, breeze blocks, CMU blocks, concrete bin blocks, or masonry blocks. While concrete and cement are not the same things, they’re often used interchangeably, so you may find concrete blocks are occasionally called cement blocks.

Why does inventory vary based on location?

Concrete blocks are made of recycled and leftover concrete and can sometimes be determined by a plant’s volume or production. Ozinga representatives can give you more insight into inventory at specific locations near you, so contact us today!

How much does a concrete block weigh?

The weight of concrete blocks varies significantly based on their size. Simple parking bumper blocks weigh over 100 lbs, while larger concrete blocks can weigh upwards of a ton.

    Are Ozinga’s concrete blocks sustainable?

Concrete blocks from Ozinga are developed using 100% recycled materials. After mixing concrete, it must be poured. For any project that doesn’t use a full load of prepared concrete, there are leftovers that must be used. Ozinga makes sure this material doesn’t go to waste by pouring concrete blocks using the leftovers.
