Ozinga Earns ENERGY STAR Partner of the Year Designation for a Second Year
For the second year in a row, Ozinga is one of 206 companies, schools, retailers, manufacturers, home builders, and commercial building owners and operators across the United States named an ENERGY STAR partner of the year.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) named Ozinga Partner of the Year for energy management. These honorees are partners that can demonstrate excellence in improving the energy performance of buildings and plants through a corporate-wide, portfolio-based energy program.
Despite the challenges of 2020, Ozinga remained committed to energy efficiency. We developed a motor study program that provided insights into motor performance and enabled the design of motor management changes for energy efficiency.
Ozinga’s Energy team also completed a diverse set of projects affecting energy efficiency in compressed air systems, truck engine block heating, transportation fuel accounting, sprinkler system improvement, and shutdown of dust collector fans when not in use.
