Community – Bilingual Volunteers
MorningStar Mission had a critical need for bilingual volunteers to assist individuals. Ozinga coworkers stepped in and volunteered over several days.
Community – Habitat for Humanity
Ozinga's Human Resources Department partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Northwest Indiana to help rebuild a home in the Hammond area. The project helps women take a proactive step in serving in their communities.
Community – Comer Children’s Hospital
Ozinga coworkers participated in our 2nd Annual Toy Drive for Comer Children's Hospital. Over 1,000 items were donated to help support and comfort the children in the pediatric hospital.
Community – BuiltWorlds
We were proud to play a part in the BuiltWorlds Cities Conference. The event focused on new technologies being used in the operation of city infrastructure.

Serving our community is important to Ozinga. Supporting Project H.O.O.D. is just one way Ozinga supports communities.

The Ozinga show truck was out and about in the community for Independence Day events.
Community – Memorial Park, New Buffalo, MI
The Ozinga Foundation is proud to help out communities in different shapes and forms. New Buffalo Memorial Park is the most recent project we supported which encourages families to lead a more active lifestyle outdoors.
Community – Future Firm
A concrete mixture made out of recycled gym shoes? Recently, we held a workshop with students from Future Firm on how to utilize Nike Grind into a concrete mix. Nike Grind materials are created from recycled athletic footwear to make sustainable products.
University of Wisconsin Students Conduct Energy Assessment at Ozinga’s Oak Creek Plant
We’re committed to making a positive impact on individuals, their families and the community for generations. That’s why we recently partnered with the Department of Energy’s Industrial Assessment Center to welcome a group of engineering students from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee to our Oak Creek, WI plant.
Community – St. John Lutheran School
This Rocks! A group of third-grade students from St. John’s Lutheran Church and School were in for a special treat! They stopped by our Rock Creek Terminal and Channahon location to learn about rocks and minerals for their geology class.
Community – Veterans Memorial
Yesterday the Village of Carol Stream and Carol Stream VFW #10396 gathered at their newly built Veterans Memorial Plaza. Ozinga was proud to donate the concrete for this project.
