Ozinga Acquires Barreiro Concrete Materials, Inc., Expands South Florida Footprint

August 26, 2022 (Mokena, IL) — Construction materials company Ozinga is expanding its South Florida operation in Doral and Deerfield Beach, FL by acquiring the assets of Barreiro Concrete Materials, Inc. and welcoming nearly 100 Barreiro Concrete Materials Inc. coworkers to the Ozinga team.

“This addition to our Florida operation is an opportunity to expand upon our commitment to making a positive impact on individuals, their families and the communities where we live and work,” said Justin Ozinga, President. “We are excited to continue growing in Florida and welcome so many new coworkers into our family business.”

The expansion allows Ozinga, a 94-year-old family-owned company, to provide sustainable, high-quality ready-mix concrete to more customers in Southeast Florida.

Ozinga operates in Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana, Michigan and Florida.
