Ozinga and Culver’s of Northwest Indiana are excited to announce our partnership in the “Concretes for a Cause” promotion that will support Sheltered91, an organization dedicated to assisting victims and survivors of human trafficking.
For every Culver’s concrete mixer dessert sold on Saturdays throughout July at participating restaurants, Culver’s will donate $1 to Sheltered91. Ozinga will match each dollar raised. The funds will help provide crucial services such as housing, counseling and help with basic needs for those affected by human trafficking.
“We are committed to making a positive impact in the communities where we live and work,” said Justin Ozinga, President of Ozinga. “Human trafficking is a pervasive issue, and we believe in supporting organizations like Sheltered91 that are on the front lines, providing critical aid and resources directly to survivors.”
In support of the partnership, Northwest Indiana Culver’s restaurants will offer four special flavors aligned with Ozinga’s iconic red and white striped concrete trucks including Chocolate Strawberry Parfait, Chocolate Covered Strawberry, Double Strawberry and Red Raspberry. Participating Culver’s locations in Northwest Indiana include:
Culver’s of Crown Point
Culver’s of Hammond
Culver’s of Merrillville
Culver’s of Highland
Culver’s of Schererville
Culver’s of St. John
Culver’s of Cedar Lake
“We’re thrilled to partner with Ozinga on this opportunity to support the community and cause,” said John Terpstra, owner of Culver’s of NW Indiana. “This partnership is one small way we can help raise awareness and funds for Sheltered91, allowing them to continue their vital work in supporting victims and survivors of human trafficking.”
The promotion starts July 6 and ends on July 27.
